Nice tidy easy to drive car, with good fuel consumtion.

Not interested in what people think, I bought the car for me.

What are you likely to buy next?
Not sure maybe a later Prius, but what ever it will be a hybrid. not and electric one, they are ok for town driving but nothin else, to get to the Loire where we are ging on holiday would take 3-4 days, the Prius will do it in 6-7 hours.

Is there any special reason why you bought this car?
I was driving a JAGUAR XJ8 on a pension with petrol prices rising to 1.349 a litre, needed to save on this.
What was the dealer like?
Poor, I delt with a new salesman, who seemed good at the start, but turns out I was fed quite some untruths, new battery fitted, NO, will be service before I take the car yes, NO, roof was in a poor condition bird lime all over it, but was covered in snow when I looked at it, took it back the next day, they were no interested in sorting it, I had to write to the princible of the dealership who ortherised getting it done. I was conserned when I got the car back, as it had 65 miles on the trip meter when I took it in and 215 miles when I got it back, the dealer is 8 miles from where I live.

Driving it
What's it like to drive?
Fantasic, no problem at all, it will cruise all day, on the crise control,no need to do anything, its an auto, parking is no problem, it may look a small car, but there is more room in the back than in the Jaguar.

No Problem.

Living with it
Have you had any problems with the car?
Apart from the roof, the radio packed up, they replaced this, I understand its a known fault, I have a right front brake squeal, they say its the ridge on the disc, do not believe it, I think the caliper is not returning, they have not replaced it under the warranty.
What's most practical about your car?
Easy to drive, fairly quite, resonable milage in the summer, drove 300 miles into France in May last year, and got 300miles from half a tank 22litres of fuel, best I have ever had from a car. This winter the milage has dropped off to 28mpg, maybe due to heating and deicing.
Favourite gadget, option or accessory?
Rear view camera, and sat nav, if you can work it out.
