Summary
What does this car say about you?
It depends on the person. Some people think I am an environmental warrior which I am not. Some think I am an idiot for wasting so much money but they don’t know what I paid for it. I feel quite smug knowing that I pay the minimum of road tax, very low insurance premiums and get excellent fuel economy all wrapped up in a very nice car that is about the cheapest car to own and run for its size and class and feel really good knowing the money saved will go towards something better.
What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?
It depends on the person again. Some are impressed, some are not. Some think it is wonderful some don’t. To be honest I don’t give a flying fig what other people think and don’t understand why people are so worried about other people’s views. I bought it because it suited me and my needs.
Would you buy this car again and why?
If I can get the same deal again then yes. I bought new once and was shocked at the money I lost as soon as I drove out of the forecourt. As a private individual I recommend buying a one owner used car. Most new cars are registered to business users so let them take the hit so you can reap the benefits.
What are you likely to buy next?
Whoever or Wherever I can get the best deal

No

January 2010

Excellent deal, low mileage 1 owner and end of lease combined to give a knock down price of under £5000.00
Is there any special reason why you bought this car?
I am an average person, work from home so do very little mileage and was sick of paying high Road tax and insurance for my car to be sat outside for most of its life
What was the dealer like?
Easy to work with but at the price paid it wouldnt have been a big deal if it was Arthur Daley himself

Driving it
What's it like to drive?
Took a little while to get used to but once you understand the car its easy and lets be honest, you cant drive anywhere nowdays at ant sort of speed so this is the ideal car that looks good and preforms as well and in most cases better that a lot of car on the road.
What's it like to park?
This is a funny point to ask. If you can drive you can park. I have never understood the need for parking aids and feel that if you cant park this then you cant park any car so you shouldnt be driving, well not in reverse.

Living with it
Have you had any problems with the car?
Not yet and I dont expect anything either, its a Toyota
What's most practical about your car?
The Space. I dont need a car every day but when I do, its to carry stuff back and forth. It swallows up most items and with the seats down, almost a full blown estate
Favourite gadget, option or accessory?
Everything does what it should do so I suppose it would be the whole package as it is a car run by and with gadgets.
