The Rav-4 is a great all rounder with lots of decent features, good visibility and looks good too. The 4x4 is really good for when the weather hits and it gives confidence when driving normally too. The engine is quiet and smooth with typical Japanese reliability. The interior looks nice and has the bells and whistles you need. A cracking car but I think I'd prefer a manual. Worth a buy.
How reliable do you find the car?
We haven't had it very long so no problem yet!! Although one of the reasons I bought it was because they are renowned for being reliable - fingers crossed!Does the car do everything you expected it to do?
The car is great in every way we expected. The only fault I can think of is the auto gearbox doesn't really let the car run at motorway speeds without working the engine a little harder than I'd like. On a manual gearbox, I would normally put it in 5th or 6th and the car would cruise along at relatively low revs. But with the auto box it is working much harder and obviously using more fuel.About their car
