Economy
Value
Expensive to buy considering its underwhelming badge. Warranty only just ran out so awaiting the first bills.
Costs
Only thing done so far was 40,000 mile service at £250.

On the road
Driving
Feels like a super-mini inside but 4WD, fat tyres w/o feel and high centre of gravity soon puts paid to any ideas of 'boy racing'. Terrible understeer on roundabouts and sharp corners. Brakes useless in rain. Accelerates well and controls very light.
Performance
Accelerates very well despite its mass. No 'feel' when driving though.

Living with it
Reliability
Bullet proof engine. Very strong and secure. Brakes dodgy when wet.
Image
Thinks it's a Gti, but looks are deceptive. It's a nippy Land Rover.
Comfort
Very comfortable even on long trips, but has a very annoying windscreen whistling noise at anything over 50mph. The stereo is the only cure.

Security and Service
Security
Rated highly and allegedly unattractive to boy racers. No trouble yet.
Service
Very polite staff always eager to please, but they expect you to call them to find out if your car is ready.
