A definite improvement on our previous 2009 RAV4. Diesel engine is very economical and tows well but lacks acceleration. Would benefit from a turbo. One fuel injector replaced under warranty. Upgraded tyres to Michelin Latitude Cross. Lacks Satnav, power seats and sunroof. Large boot space and all round visibilty. Great around the countryside but won't break any speed records on the motorway. First gear is very low which is great with a full load or towing but you won't win the traffic light grand prix. Sport button makes no noticeable change to performance! Straight sides help to keep narrow external dimensions and able to judge passing and parking with no problem. Benefits from rear view camera and parking sensors. Would recommend for economical plodder with loads of luggage space. Plenty of miles left in this one and not in a hurry to replace it. Has held its value well.
