Toyota RAV4 (2013 - 2019) Excel 2.5 VVT-i Hybrid (Toyota Touch 2 with Go Plus) (Toyota Safety Sense) AWD auto 5d Owner Review

In their own words
Comfortable and relaxing, but uninspiring drive. Lovely to drive in busy traffic with automatic gearbox meaning smooth but slow, progress in Eco mode Great on motorway and straight roads but does wallows on bends and even though all wheel drive does not inspire confidence, you will not want to throw this round bends. It has a great high up driving position and you feel the car is solidly built, the doors shut with a real thud. The extra weight of the batteries, 180kg, can catch you out when braking if you have not left sufficient distance. There are three driving modes, EV, Eco and sport. EV mode is misleading as you can only drive yards before being automatically switched. Driving in Eco mode carefully anticipating traffic light changes and being light footed I have achieved 47 mpg. Putting the car in sport gives it creditable performance, affecting fuel useage significantly. Noise increases with this setting, otherwise very quiet in use. The car has been faultless in the two years I have owned it. some of the switches, for example, the drive selector are low down and difficult to find. This car has driver only seat adjustment. The mirrors do not auto, fold and the switch is not lit so,hard to se at night. The sat nav is slow to work. Costs £20 to,tax and this appealed as my last diesel 4x4 was much higher. Consider this if you want relaxing, quiet progress but not if you want an involving drive.
