-
Economy
Value
Expensive new, but a second-hand bargain.
Costs
Economical even if driven hard. Independent specialists keep servicing costs down.
-
On the road
Driving
With lowered sports suspension and 15-inch alloys, roadholding is fantastic. Steering is precise.
Performance
Must be one of the quickest small cars on the road. Very nippy.
-
Living with it
Reliability
It's a Toyota.
Image
In standard trim, these cars can be bland. Add 15-inch alloys, tinted windows and a sports exhaust though and you get plenty of glances.
Comfort
Adequate at best. Very cramped in the rear, but decent driving position.

Security and Service
Security
Locks seem strong and immobiliser as standard. I have fitted an aftermarket alarm.
Service
I have had limited contact with the manufacturer, but when needed they are always helpful.
