Toyota Verso S (2011-2013) interior, tech and comfort
Fit and finish is top notch, which is of little surprise because Toyota is well known for having good build quality. The plastics are of a high quality and soft to touch and the overall effect is a good looking interior. The buttons are well placed on the central console and to there’s even a ‘sport’ button on the cars that have the ‘auto’ gearbox (see handling).
The ride is good although it may be a little firm for some. If you pick the Multitronic CVT gearbox the car will be rather noisy. There is also quite a lot of wind noise from the A-pillars and the mirrors, which can get very irritating when on a long journey. The seats are quite well bolstered, hemming you in nicely when cornering, and there is good support for your back.
Visibility is good and the high seating position is perfect for those that want a good vantage point – especially useful when driving in cramped city streets.
