Toyota Yaris (1999 - 2005) 1.0 VVT-i T2 3d Owner Review
Want to know everything there is to know about this car?
In their own words
Mx5 for summer, CRV for winter ,Yaris run around. If you think the 1.0 litre is slow hav you tried using the rev range ? Mine was one owner from new and probably never went above 2000 revs it was immaculate.. once the vvti system gets going and you start changing gear around 5000 to 6500 rpm it really gets going remember it only weights in at 950 kg which is less than my mk1 mx5. Insurance cost nil as just added to multicar policy how much is a 16year old car worth ? Handling is fine safe, nice feel to the brakes has abs good vision massive wipers volcanic heater wind up windows manual mirrors no central locking good headlights decent high profile tyres which are cheap to buy no alloy wheels to buckle it's a fun car to drive I am getting 55mpg round town ! I wonder what I will get on a long run. I have put in a cd/mp3 wave flac player in easily ,so that's the prog rock and 80's sorted It's ok in the snow as well....
Downsides It keeps getting " borrowed" but I suppose that was the idea... but mainly it was for me .....
How reliable do you find the car?
