Economy
Value
Worth the extra cash for the 5-door, much more accessible to rear. Plenty of gadgets for the money. Aircon would be a bonus in this model, but hey, you can't have everything.
Costs
Very good MPG, even when fully-laiden. Parts can be expensive when out of warranty, but are rarely needed. Fingers crossed. Reasonable service costs, even from main dealer.

Driving
Very light and precise steering. Excellent turning circle. Elevated driving position makes for good visibility. Shame the clutch keeps slipping and needing replacing, (twice so far). Gearchange quite clonky, especially into 2nd and up ratios.
Performance
Pretty nippy and grippy around town, but not a good performer on motorway or B-roads. Feels like you're flogging it in 5th at 60+ MPH. Engine noise becomes a bit intrusive at speed, but not excessive. Best as a city/ town car rather than motorway.

Living with it
Reliability
Generally excellent. Had a couple of frustrating hot-start issues, but these were rare.
Image
Don't understand the comments from some people saying they look like and old persons or girls car. A bit quirky inside, but you soon get used to it. Choose then right colour and they're fine.
Comfort
Good for driver and passengers. Haven't used rear seats much, but the front ones are supportive, high up and comfy for medium-length journeys.

Security and Service
Security
Immobiliser, but no alarm. The norm really. Seems fairly secure. Fortunately never been broken into.
Service
Main dealer staff very helpful and friendly. Not their fault about clutch is it?
