Pro's... in mine the stereo was still working perfectly. Not bad for a 16 year old car. All the electrical components (windows, heaters etc...) Nice alloys Lovely engine design and easy to work on. lots of cubby holes. Love the dashboard design.
Cons... Not many actually... couldn't find a fascia panel for the radio that would let me keep the ashtray. Cigarette lighter was a faff to remove and refit. Light seals on the rear cause water to collect in the boot, easy fix though. Aerial hits things occasionally.
Mine started to shake a little at 70mph but that was to do with a fault with the suspension and wheel alignment. Easy fix.
Once in good condition and even when a little poorly it's still fun to drive around town and more importantly, as a driver it's comfortable to drive at a distance of at least 30 miles. I haven't driven further yet .
How reliable do you find the car?
As you'd expect for the age of the car there where a few issues. All easily fixed by myself... few patches of rust here and there, new shock absorbers and springs and insulators on the rear. New drop links on the front. Also had to do an overall of the fuel system. Fuel tank is still perfect though.Does the car do everything you expected it to do?
I bought it because I wanted something a little better than my ka (04 first car) Lots of equipment and fun to drive.About their car
