Toyota Yaris (99-05) rivals
Overview
Yaris was a sensation when it was launched in 1999. It was fun, economical, well built and good value for money. It showed the way forward for small cars and made established supermini manufacturers like Ford and Citroen re-think what they were offering. It’s no longer the market leader, although the all-new Yaris was a major success from 2006 onwards.
Because of its reputation for reliability and low running costs, buyers see it as a great used buy. Prices have remained remarkably firm.
