Toyota Yaris Hatchback (2006 - 2011) 1.33 VVT-i TR (6speed) 5d Owner Review

Very reliable and solid car for sure, but not at all exciting to drive. Gearbox is slow and clunky, and acceleration not particularly quick. Not as nippy as the car I'm used to! Otherwise very practical, I like the flexibility of moving the position of the back seats, and the car is packed with storage. Feels spacious inside, if very grey. Turning circle is tight and it's a very maneuverable little car. Wouldn't recommend its digital fuel gauge - have found it very unreliable when fuel is low - seems to say you have a quarter of a tank when there's actually very little fuel. Broke down after running out of fuel after a couple of weeks of owning it. Won't trust it again! Really like the stop-start engine feature too.
