Low fuel costs, low tax costs (£50 for 12 months), cheap running costs and that all important Toyota Jap reliability.

Something jap and less sensible - Civic Type R or Subaru Impreza.

Yes got excellent deal as I went end of month (they like to boost figures). Excellent part exchange on old vehicle.
Is there any special reason why you bought this car?
Fuel economy and reliability.
What was the dealer like?
Very helpful and willing. The salesperson said I'd only be back for servicing - and he was right!!

Driving it
What's it like to drive?
Lovely smooth drive - turbo diesel is very reponsive. Does get caught by wind because of high top so beware! Drives like a dream on long motor journey - does not feel like a small car.
What's it like to park?
Easy with good all-round visability.

Living with it
Have you had any problems with the car?
Nothing in 10000 miles - not a single creak. The car is solidly built and everything seems to be made to last.
What's most practical about your car?
Fuel economy and running costs. Also fold flat seats.
