This model dispels the image of the Yaris as an old person's car. It looks amazing. It is spacious in the front and the tech on offer is incredible. Some criticise it for the absence of SatNav but Apple and Android connectivity overcomes this and means that maps are always up to date. This car runs almost silently in town on electric power and is remarkably agile. I realise that fuel consumption will be less frugal on long motorway journeys but I am prepared for this. Overall it is a superb car. Anyone looking for a comfortable city car with a high tech, safety based interior should shortlist the Yaris.
Does the car do everything you expected it to do?
As someone who drives mainly in town I am astonished by the fuel economy. My car is linked to my iPhone through MyT and the App provides me with driving hints for every journey and shows my overall fuel economy which is 79 mpg with 65% of driving time on electric power.
