I want an affordable economical car that looks good and is reliable. Pretty much sums up the Yaris SR!
What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?
Everyone loves it - from the striking red paintwork to the tasty alloys. The digital display gets alot of comments.
Would you buy this car again and why?
Yes, it does exactly what it says on the tin.
What are you likely to buy next?
If not another Yaris, then something abit larger like the Auris.

Did you get a good deal and why?
Car was bought through www.broadspeed.com from a volume dealership. Meant travelling 150 miles to pick the car up, but massive savings over list price.
Is there any special reason why you bought this car?
Toyota reliability, looks, great engine
What was the dealer like?
Poor - never returned calls and car was damaged on delievery. However my local toyota dealership have bent over backwards to help me.

Driving it
What's it like to drive?
Great to drive around town, plenty of visibility and nice and small. It will happily tackle country roads, but it is no hot hatch. Although the initial turn in is nice and responsive, it does tend to wallow somewhat. Will sit on the motorway at cruising speeds no problems at all. Engine is still not properly run in and it still returns 58mpg on a run.
What's it like to park?
Very easy given its size. All the controls are light so parking is never an issue.

Have you had any problems with the car?
Nothing so far!
What's most practical about your car?
Clever rear seats which can be adjusted to allow for more boot or more leg room depending what you need it for. When the seats are fully back you can easily fit 3 adults in the back in relative comfort. The one touch fold flat rear seats are very handy, and the number of cubby holes around the car also add to its praticality
Favourite gadget, option or accessory?
The stereo with built in Sat-Nav! Its a fantastic unit and always impressive when it tilts forward to load CD's.
