Economy
Value
A used Puma drives better and is cheaper.
Costs
Servicing and parts, horrendous, but then you won't need either very often.
-
On the road
Driving
Low profile tyres wreck the ride and steering. Not nearly as fluid as it could be. I've heard that the 1.3 is a better set up.
Performance
No rocket, but quite fast, enough to have fun.

Living with it
Reliability
It's what Toyota are famous for, and rightly so.
Image
Can't tell and don't care from the inside.
Comfort
Low profile tyres destroy ride/handling. Lots of grip though. Lack of memory on the seats is a pain.
-
Security and Service
Security
No faults here.
Service
Service was terrible, was left waiting for hours. Very happy to take my money though. Got the impression they only give real service to fleet customers. Other places much more personal, although they are still ruinously expensive.

Problems and Ownership
Problems
Engine
No problems. Noisy, but pulls strongly.
Other
When you let the seats forward to let people in the back, they don't go back to their original setting which is bloody annoying. Stereo only has speakers in the front, which seems a bit miserly. Sat. Nav screen pathetically small, not really worth having.
Ownership
Did you buy the car new?
Used
Would you buy the same model again?
No
Did you buy from the same manufacturer again?
Yes
