This generation of Citroen Dispatch originally came in three body lengths and only a single roof height. The shortest version was then dropped from the range for the 2023 model update, leaving the M and XL versions. All come with twin sliding side doors as standard.
The three load lengths of 2,160mm, 2,510mm and 2,860mm correspond to load volumes of 4.6, 5.3 and 6.1 cubic metres. There is just one roof height option which offers an internal height of 1,397mm, and the interior width measures 1,628mm (1,258mm between the wheelarches).
However, materials of up to 4,024mm (on the long wheelbase) can be stored internally with the Moduwork feature, which consists of a gate in the bulkhead and allows long piping and planks of wood to be loaded through into the passenger footwell. Go for the medium version and it stretches the length out to 3,674mm while the shortest model offers 3,324mm of length.
You also get six load lashing points and an internal light.
That solitary height, which is no greater than 1,940mm on any version (there is a few mm difference between each length, and the most recent models top out at 1,935mm) means that the Dispatch can fit under most car park height restrictors.
A big novelty is the option of hands-free motorised sliding doors - side doors that automatically open when the keyholder waves a foot underneath the rear bumper.
Potentially very useful when you've got your arms full of kit or materials, but in practice we've not found the system to work vry reliably, so think carefully before spending the cash on this option.
