Citroen e-Dispatch dimensions (2020-on)
The Citroen e-Dispatch is a fully electric van with the option to upgrade to an impressive 1,226kg payload or a 75kWh battery with impressive range.
Two body lengths are available, with a choice of two different-sized battery packs. The payload is around 1,000kg across the range, but 50kWh models can be upgraded to carry more for a reasonable price.

Like its diesel counterpart, the Citroen e-Dispatch was originally available in a choice of three body lengths and a single, city centre-friendly roof height under 2.0 metres. The shortest of these three was then ditched for the 2023 model update, leaving the M and XL versions.
You'll be spared any Max Headroom style moments in typical height-restricted car parks and get to enjoy car-like stability in crosswinds, but the e-Dispatch range offers less flexibility than rivals for carrying tall loads.
The M and XL body lengths are both available on the Enterprise Edition trim level. The highest-specification Driver Edition is only offered with the shorter M length.

The Citroen e-Dispatch's load area is identical to its diesel counterpart. Here are the main measurements.
Citroen e-Dispatch load area dimensions | XS | M | XL |
Maximum load length (mm) | 2,160 | 2,510 | 2,860 |
Maximum load height (mm) | 1,397 | 1,397 | 1,397 |
Maximum load width (mm) | 1,628 | 1,628 | 1,628 |

Moduwork is standard equipment on the Enterprise and Driver versions of the e-Dispatch, comprising of a door in the bulkheaf and a folding outer front passenger seat to create long load area for narrow, small loads like pipes or timber..
As you can see in the table above, this adds 0.5 cubic metres of load space.
So your enjouyment of the near-silent electric motor isn't disturbed, there's a minimum of six tie-downs in the e-Dispatch's load area - which is also illuminated and includes a 12V socket for powering additional lights or accessories..
The Citroen e-Dispatch's charging cables - it comes with two - will need to be stored somewhere in the back or under the front seat. There's a three-pin charger for domestic sockets and a cable for use at public charging spots. They do have carry bags, making it a little easier to keep them tidy.
Citroen offers the e-Dispatch in two body lengths, and they both offer the same payload as standard - 1,000kg give or take a couple of kilos.
Citroen e-Dispatch payload
Compared with the diesel versions, the Citroen e-Dispatch has lower payload and towing ratings. This is almost entirely down to the extra weight of the battery.
However, even the heaviest, biggest e-Dispatch fitted with the 75kWh battery can carry 1,001kg. Although it lags behind diesel equivalents, this is one of the best electric vans you can buy.
Since the shortest version was dropped from the range, the e-Dispatch's payloads are all within 4kg of one another, ranging from 1,000kg to 1,004kg.
Citroen e-Dispatch towing capacity
All Citroen e-Dispatch models can tow up to 1,000kg braked.
