One of Mercedes-Benz’s commercial vehicle dealer groups has purchased one of its rivals. Imperial Holdings, which owns Imperial Commercials and Orwell Truck & Van, has now taken the entire share capital of S&B Commercials.
S&B Commercials comprises of four dealerships in the south east, at Welham Green, Hatfield, Stansted and West Thurrock, and the business employs around 275 people. The group is the primary dealer for Mercedes-Benz Citan, Mercedes-Benz Vito and Mercedes-Benz Sprinter in the area.
“S & B Commercials is a well-respected, long standing Mercedes-Benz Commercial Vehicle Dealer that has been carefully and lovingly built by the Holmes family in to a business with a strong regional reputation”, explains Imperial Holdings UK Director, Ian Oakes.
