Iveco has re-launched the ‘Platinum’ spec on the new Daily 35-130 van. The top-of-the-range model includes a generous amount of spec, including rear parking sensors, climate control and spring suspended seats, and is priced at £19,995 for the short wheelbase and £20,995 for the long.
Generous specification
The Platinum models are aimed at owner-drivers and smaller fleet operators who want extra levels of comfort and safety. Among the extra kit is rear parking sensors, spring-suspended driver’s seat, air conditioning with climate control, cornering front fog lights, cruise-control, heated electric mirrors, remote control central locking, additional storage compartments, 140-amp alternator and a heavy-duty battery.
As well as the creature comforts of the ‘Top Pack’, the Platinum spec also includes a more comprehensive infotainment system, which features TomTom navigation, with weight and height inputs for the optimum route, Bluetooth connectivity and iPhone audio controls.
Limited offering
Only two variants of the Daily will be available with the Platinum spec; the medium wheelbase, medium roof and the long wheelbase, medium roof. The 3,130mm and 4,680mm load lengths correspond to load volumes of 10.8 and 16 cubic metres and payloads of around 1,270kg and 1,070kg respectively.
Sales and aftersales
To help the finances of small businesses, a three year, free servicing package is included based on 25,000 miles per year. The Elements package includes all servicing and routine checks, greasing, oil changes and fluids, in addition to the supply of authentic replacement parts. Retail customers now benefit from from a longer, 5 year warranty.
