This generation Vivaro was, and still is, a much respected product balancing practicality with versatility. It’s comfortable, easy to drive and offers good all-round vision and, with it being the 113bhp version, it packs respectable amount of punch too.
It’s the short wheelbase, low roof version, but it can still carry load volumes of up to 5m³. It has a gross vehicle weight of 2700kg, which return a payload of around 1080kg. Under the bonnet is the Renault-Nissan 2 litre diesel unit, which is fairly reliable, but falls well behind the latest generation of vans in terms of efficiency.
