Peugeot has announced that order books for both the 2015 Peugeot Partner and Peugeot Partner Electric are now open. Only minor alterations have been made for the 2015 model year Peugeot Partner, but the electric version is on sale for the first time.
New drivelines
Initially, six drivelines will be offered in addition to the Peugeot Partner Electric, three of which are Euro6 compliant (What does Euro6 means for van buyers?). The options are the Euro5 1.6HDi 74bhp diesel, 1.6HDi 91bhp diesel and 1.6HDi 91bhp diesel ATV (All-Terrain Vehicle) with Grip Control, and the Euro6 1.6VTi 97bhp petrol, 1.6-litre BlueHDi 99bhp and the 1.6-litre BlueHDi 99bhp ETG (Efficient Tronic Gearbox).
Both BlueHDi models come with stop/start as standard and all models are five-speed apart from the ETG transmission, which is six-speed. The electric model uses a single gear, and the battery provides up to 67bhp of power and 200Nm of torque.
2015 Peugeot Partner prices
Prices start from £13,215 and £15,285 for the panel van and crew van respectively (prices excl. VAT), which is a slight increase on the previous generation. However, customers now benefit from Active City Brake, which is standard across the range, while SE vans receive cruise control and speed limiters and the top of the range Professional get a TomTom Go 5000 satellite navigation.
Peugeot Partner Electric
The zero emission Peugeot Partner electric has a range of up to 106 miles between charges, similar to that of the Nissan eNV200 and Renault Kangoo ZE, and with the fast charge can achieve 80 percent charge in just 35 minutes.
Prices start from £21,300 (excluding VAT), and there is an eight-year/60,000-mile battery warranty.
