The new Mercedes-Benz Vito will be hitting UK dealerships this month (April), and to gain publicity, Mercedes-Benz is embarking on a nationwide tour. Increased fuel efficiency means the new Vito is now the second best in class for fuel economy, and offers an unrivalled amount of safety systems and comfort features as standard.
Nationwide Tour
First up on the tour is Bristol’s Cabot Circus (April 25 and 26), then Kent’s Bluewater (May 2, 3 and 4), Glasgow’s Buchannan Galleries (May 9 and 10), Manchester’s Trafford Centre (May 23, 24 and 25) and, finally, The Centre MK in Milton Keynes (May 30 and 31).
There will be local dealers present to explain about Mercedes-Benz’s renowned aftersales support and a BATAK reaction game, where each location’s results will be pitched against one another.

We were extremely impressed by the new Vito. There are a lot of safety systems and comfort features as standard, like cruise control, multifunction steering control and a 5.8-inch TFT screen, more refined and fuel efficient engines and improved built quality.
Summary
However impressed we were, we advise postponing any purchase until the pricing and specifications are announced on the new Volkswagen Transporter this summer. Available in front or rear wheel drive form, prices start at £17,855 (plus VAT) for the 109 CDI panel van Compact.
