Vauxhall has released the pricing and specification for its all new Corsavan. Due to hit UK dealerships in February, the new Vauxhall Corsavan has been restyled inside and out and features a revised chassis.
The new chassis has helped the payload increase by 21kg, to 571kg, whilst retaining the same load volume of 0.92 cubic metres. The load area is accessed via a tailgate at the rear, while a half height steel bulkhead acts as a partition to the cab.
Euro-6 compliant engines have been introduced for the very first time, and there is a choice of either a 1.2 petrol or three 1.3 diesels. Power ranges from 69bhp on the petrol, to 94bhp on the most powerful diesel output.
Although Parkers Vans are yet to verify this, Vauxhall claims the new cab is more refined, with much less sound penetration and more ergonomic, with more flexible and durable seats.
There’s also a vast range of new options. The £750 Intellink system is the most high profile addition, which consists of a touchscreen infotainment system, internet radio, satellite navigation and smart phone scraping.
Other options include heated seats, heated windows (both part of the Winter Pack) and electronic climate control. There’s also Technical Pack which includes forward collision alert, lane departure warning, rear camera, traffic sign recognition and following distance indicator.
Buyers of the new Corsavan benefit from Vauxhall’s impressive four year warranty, four years’ zero percent APR, four years’ roadside assistance and long service intervals of one year or 20,000 miles. Prices range from £11858.33 plus VAT for the Corsavan 1.2 petrol, to £14558.33 plus VAT for the Corsavan Sportive 1.3CDTi 95.
