Volkswagen has extended the production period of the Caddy Black Edition due to popular demand. The special edition model, which features Black Pearlescent paint and unique styling features, will now be available until the 31st March 2015, pushed forward from the end of 2014.
We’ll be putting the Volkswagen Caddy Black Edition to the test next week, but it may also be worth mentioning that the 2015 Volkswagen Caddy will be unveiled in Poland next month and Parkers has been invited along. No dates have been set, but it’s expected to arrive in dealerships by late 2015, along with the all new VW Transporter T6.
The Black Edition features all the standard equipment on the Highline, like fog lights, rear parking sensors, climatic air conditioning, cruise control, Bluetooth phone connectivity with trip computer and multi-function display, along with exclusive Black Edition features.
Exclusive to the Black Edition include unique styling features, including Deep Black Pearlescent paint, unique black and polished 17-inch alloy wheels and silver roof rails and radiator grille surround. Inside, the special edition adds leather and alcantara seats, a leather-wrapped multi-function steering wheel and gearshift lever. A full-height solid bulkhead helps keep noise levels down.
Only available on the short-wheelbase panel van with the 101bhp 1.6-litre TDI diesel, it is priced quite reasonably at £17,860 (ex. VAT). Click here to read the Volkswagen Caddy review and click here for all the latest deals.
