With the national media once again sounding the sirens of a long and cold winter, Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles is offering its customers a winter health check for £10 plus VAT. The check is available from now until February 2016.
The 29-point Express Visual Check is available on all four Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles: the Volkswagen Amarok, Volkswagen Caddy, Volkswagen Crafter and Volkswagen Transporter T6.
In addition to more challenging driving conditions, lower temperatures and adverse weather conditions also put extra strain on vehicle components, which means they are more likely to fail.
The winter health check comprises of 29 component checks, including batteries, brake pads, exhaust and steering, and is priced from just £10 plus VAT.
“The expertise and aftercare packages available from the Volkswagen Van Centre network are designed to deliver peace-of-mind to our customers”, explains Trevor Hodgson-Phillips, Head of Service and Parts at Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles UK.
“We are providing tyre checks and all over vehicle checks at our Van Centres as a preventative measure to help keep our customers safe on the roads this winter.”
A Winter Care Kit is also provided free of charge (worth £21.50) and contains a de-icer, an ice scraper and screen wash. The company is also offering 60 percent discount on Snow Sock Winter Traction Aids, subject to availability.
The checks are carried out at any of the 72 Van Centres nationwide, and bookings can be made online.
