Volkswagen is offering owners of its vans (up to 10 years old) a year’s complimentary breakdown assistance following a service at one of the firm’s dealerships. The package, worth £99 per year, gives access to 90 dedicated Volkswagen Group trained technicians in addition to the full support of the AA roadside team.
Volkswagen is one of the most reliable brands of commercial vehicles on the road, as highlighted in the 2014 Van Reliability Survey. During 2014, 95 percent of repairable issues were fixed at the roadside, keeping customers mobile and minimising downtime.
The average callout time is just 42 minutes and technicians are equipped with all the latest diagnostic equipment as well as genuine Volkswagen specialist tools and parts.
All of the usual elements of the AA roadside service package, including onward travel for up to seven passengers and recovery of the the vehicle to an authorised repairer, is included as part of the package. The package also covers mainland Europe.
There are around 72 Volkswagen Van Centres nationwide, and the current model line-up consists of the Volkswagen Amarok, Volkswagen Caddy, Volkswagen Transporter and Volkswagen Crafter.
