Vauxhall has released information on a pair of new Vivaro lines, the Tourer Elite and Combi Plus ahead of their debut at the 2017 Frankfurt motor show.
New Vivaros, new customers?
Built at Vauxhall’s factory in Luton, the two new Vivaros aim to fulfil the needs of different market segments.
The Tourer Elite focuses on what the manufacturer calls the ‘business shuttle market’, whilst the Combi Plus is designed for customers who want a more ‘car-like’ vehicle than the regular Vivaro Combi.
How ‘elite’ is the Tourer Elite?
This is Vauxhall’s first van labelled as a Tourer. Is this a bid for the lifestyle market? Most certainly
The Tourer Elite model will be available with a 1.6-litre CDTi BiTurbo engine with 125hp or 145hp, in either standard (L1) or long wheelbase (L2) models.
More will be revealed next month at the Frankfurt Motor Show, with pricing and order availability coming soon after.
