MAN is best known as a truck manufacturer, but in 2017 it launched the TGE large van – essentially a variant of the latest VW Crafter.
Now at the CV Show 2018, MAN is celebrating not only the start of rear-wheel drive TGE production but also a new range of ready-built conversions, marketed under the label Vans to Go.
Which kinds of MAN Vans to Go conversions are available?
The new MAN conversion range launches with three models:
- MAN TGE dropside
- MAN TGE tipper
- MAN TGE Luton
The tippers and dropsides are built by Ingimex – as per various VW conversions (not to mention factory-approved conversions from other manufacturers) – while the Luton is by JC Payne.
As the Vans to Go name suggests, these are turn-key conversions, available to order direct from MAN dealers.
The model on display at the CV Show is a TGE 3.180 single cab dropside. Enormous, and beautifully finished.
As with all TGE vans, these conversions benefit from access to MAN's truck servicing network, which operates far longer opening hours than most conventional van service centres, helping to minimise your downtime.
