Nissan is giving centre stage to the latest and greatest version of its e-NV200 electric van at the CV Show 2018, which we now know will cost from £18,599 (excluding VAT but including the government electric van grant).
An upgrade to the original e-NV200, the new model gains a 40kWh battery pack, almost doubling its capacity and providing a 60% increase in driving range.
To see it you will have to get by a bunch of footballers doing tricks, however, as the whole stand has something of a football pitch theme. Hope you can cope with that.
Is the 2018 Nissan e-NV200 at the CV Show any good?
With a generously sized load area for a small van – which is unaffected by the electric drive systems as the batteries are stored under the floor – and ultra-clean zero emissions performance, the electric version was already our favourite NV200 variant.
The increase in battery size now means you can travel up to a claimed 174 miles between charges –making electric van ownership much more practical than before. The only rival to get anywhere near to this is the Renault Kangoo ZE 33, which claims 170 miles – all others can barely top 100 miles.
As such, we see this 2018 upgrade as a substantial improvement over the previous model; click here to read our full review.

What else is Nissan showing at the CV Show 2018?
The uprated electric LCV (light commercial vehicle) appears alongside, the NV300 and NV400 vans, and NT400 light truck, plus an unexpected new version of the Navara pickup.
You can read the full details on the new Nissan Navara Off-Roader AT32 in our separate story by clicking here.
Also worth a gander is the Nissan e-NV200 WORKSPACe mobile office concept that we drove in 2017.
