Just in time for the COVID-19 coronavirus Lockdown Part Two, Mercedes-Benz Vans has launched an online showroom.
The new website allows you to search and browse dealer stock right across the UK, in an effort to make it easier to buy a new Mercedes van – or a used Mercedes van – without needing to visit a physical dealership.

What’s the web address of the new Mercedes-Benz Vans online showroom and how does it work?
The new digital showroom is located at: https://van-showroom.mercedes-benz.co.uk/
Once accessed you’ll find you can select from a number of filters in order to locate the vans that might best suit you. The filters cover new and used, van model, body type and price.
The price filter can be further refined by total price or monthly rental. You’ll also find that most of the vans advertised on the site show monthly finance pricing automatically as well.
Once you’ve made your selection – which could be a single van or a few for comparison – the site will then put you in touch with the offering Mercedes-Benz Vans dealer (or dealers), and you’ll complete any purchasing transaction offline.
What’s the online showroom like?
We’ve had a good poke around, and it seems very straightforward to use.
The Mercedes-Benz Vans press office assures us that its dealers are fully up to speed with remote delivery and that many will in fact offer free delivery across mainland UK. So you should be able to receive your newly purchased van without violating any lockdown rules, too.
This is particularly interesting given the variety of pricing within the new showroom website for what appear to be very similar vehicles, depending on the dealership they’re located at. So it’s well worth a look, even if you already know what you plan to buy.
It’s also fully up-to-date with all the latest models – including the 100% pure electric eVito and eSprinter, which are both available to buy through the site.
The electric Mercedes vans are on sale in the UK now are they?
Yes. So much so, in fact, that Mercedes is about to become the first van brand to run a national television campaign for its all-electric models.
The TV advert is set to start going out on 2 November 2020, and you can expect to see it during Great British Bake Off and other favourites.
At the same time, Mercedes is launching a campaign that will give all retail customers buying an eVito a free NewMotion Home Fast Smart charging point, worth £549.
