Need a new pickup during the coronavirus lockdown? Mitsubishi can now not only sell you an L200 from the comfort of your own home, it will also deliver it for free until the end of June 2020.
What’s more, the reservation fee has been reduced to just £99 over the same period.
How do you buy a Mitsubishi L200 online?
Mitsubishi is fully set up for buying online – something very few other light commercial vehicle makers can boast right now – with its entire range available via a dedicated webpage, including the L200 pickup, the Outlander PHEV Commercial 4x4 and the Shogun Sport Commercial 4x4 (subject to availability from stock).
So essentially, all you need to do is visit www.mitsubishi-motors.co.uk/buy/online and follow the guidance there.
Once you’ve decided on the vehicle you want to buy, it can reserved with a fee. This is usually £350, but until the end of June 2020, Mitsubishi is reducing this to £99.
Can I arrange finance online?
Yes. Mitsubishi offers personal finance, business finance and cash purchase options via its online portal.
The business finance is probably going to be most appropriate for most commercial vehicle buyers, and this is Business Contract Hire leasing, with payment terms ranging from two to five years.
How do I get my new Mitsubishi?
Once you’ve selected your new vehicle, reserved it and arranged to purchase, a participating Mitsubishi dealer (which presumably means not all of them are taking part) will arrange to deliver it to you.
Usually there would be a £100 fee for this service, but this has been waived completely until the end of June 2020 – meaning delivery is currently free.
The dealers will observe all the necessary hygiene and social distancing guidelines during this process, ensuring the safe delivery of your new vehicle during lockdown.
What if I want to part-exchange my existing vehicle?
Mitsubishi has made it possible to arrange this online as well. There’s usually a collection fee, but this has been waived until the end of June as well.
Again, collection will be made by the participating dealer, following all the latest coronavirus guidance.
See Mitsubishi’s website for the full terms and conditions.
