The Citroen Relay isn’t dead yet. Despite dating all the back to 2006, the current version of Citroen’s large van is receiving another update.
You won’t be able to tell from the outside, as there are no visual changes at all. But the 2022 model year Relay – already available to order now – does benefit from increased standard equipment and new engines that meet Euro 6.3 emissions regulations.

What extra kit do you get on the 2022 Citroen Relay?
The Relay is available in three trim levels: X, Enterprise and Drive.
X models get the major boost here, with cruise control and speed limiter now standard, alongside an alarm and deadlocks (already to the fitted rest of the range), while all models now benefit from a 12v socket in the load area.
Enterprise and Driver versions receive a new USB charging port in the cab, plus a dashboard tablet computer holder.
What’s new about the engines?
The main point of the engine upgrade is the introduction of Euro 6.3 emissions standards, which arrives in the form of two 2.2-litre turbodiesels.
The BlueHDi 120 has 120hp and 310Nm, while the BlueHDi 140 has 140hp and 340Nm. Both feature stop-start technology, and though Citroen hasn’t made a fuss about fuel economy, the offer up to 9g/km lower Co2 emissions.
Citroen is also launching an e-Relay electric van before the end of 2022.
How much does the 2022 Citroen Relay cost?
Prices for the revised Relay start at £26,655 for the entry-level X. An equivalent Enterprise costs an extra £1,180, while moving up from an Enterprise to a Driver is £1,370 more.
