Nissan Interstar-e electric van (2025-on) dimensions
The Nissan Interstar only comes in a couple of shapes and sizes, although there are in-house conversions also available for those who want something other than the standard panel van.
There are two lengths and only the one height of electric van at launch, with the L3H3 that comes with the diesel models not due to be offered on the EV. There isn’t much choice when it comes to driven wheels, either, with front-wheel drive the only layout set to come in right-hand drive and therefore to the UK.
You do get some choice when it comes to weights, though, with Nissan offering a 3.5-tonne model and a heavier duty option on both the 40kWh and the 87kWh version.
The relatively small number of options when it comes to the height and length means that the Interstar isn’t the biggest large van you can buy, but it makes a lot of what it has. It's agile around town, too, with an decent turning circle for such a big vehicle.

There might only be a choice of two lengths and one height, but the Nissan Interstar still makes the most of what it has. The side door is 40mm wider than before and the internal loading length has been increased compared to the previous model.

The Nissan Interstar-e offers a decent selection of payloads across the board, with the lighter 40kWh battery allowing for a higher carrying capacity than the Master, with up to 1,331kg available from a 3.5-tonne model. The 87kWh version is still strong, though, with the shorter 3.5-tonne model able to take 1,134kg
You can get 3.8- and 4.0-tonne gross vehicle weight versions too, which up these figures slightly. The 3.8-tonne is only offered on the 40kWh battery and takes it up to 1,628kg while the 4.0-tonne 87kg goes up to 1,631kg.
The towing weights are 2,000kg for the 3.5-tonne model and 1,500kg for the 4.0-tonne.
