Volkswagen Crafter dimensions (2011-2015)
The Crafter van is available with wheelbases of 3,250mm, 3,665mm and 4,325mm with an optional rear overhang. You can have a Crafter with a normal roof, a high roof, a super-high roof, as a dropside van or chassis cab with single- or double-cab configuration.
There are several options available to buyers, with panel van load volumes ranging between 7.5 to 17 cubic metres.
Where applicable you get a sliding side door big enough to get a Europallet in, and twin rear doors that open to 270 degrees.
The Crafter van is available in 3.0, 3.5 and 5.0 tonne gross vehicle weights.
With the new, lighter diesel engines, carrying capacity is up to 82kg higher than before.
You’ll be able to tow a braked trailer between 2 and 3.5 tons depending on spec.
