• Summary

    5 out of 5 5.0

What does this car say about you?

It says you're not vain (it is odd to look at). But it shows a responsible attitude to you, your family, other drivers and the environment.

What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?

They love it. Especially the kids who think it looks like Postman Pat's red van!

Would you buy this car again and why?

Yes, it makes sense on so many levels - especially financial!

What are you likely to buy next?

Nothing for a while. We aren't too keen to have a second car unless work demands it. Maybe a Smart if we have to.

    September 2007

Did you get a good deal and why?

We think we got a good deal because it's in great condition (not a scratch on it) and it comes with lots of extra features like air conditioning and chrome handles.

Is there any special reason why you bought this car?

We were looking for an economical, spacious and cheap car for us and new baby.

  • Driving it

    4 out of 5 4.0

    What's it like to drive?

Very good indeed, much better that I expected. A lot of professional reviewers have criticised it for having a noisy engine and rolling a bit on corners. Both are true if you're doing 70+ mph. I've found it a pleasure to drive, steering is responsive, comfort is fine and if you ask it to go, go it will.

    What's it like to park?

A real gem. That's where the Agila (and Suzuki Wagon R+) really win out. They're designed to park on Tokyo's crowded streets. If I had a sixpence, I bet I could turn on it.

  • Living with it

    5 out of 5 5.0

Have you had any problems with the car?

    Nope, not a thing.

What's most practical about your car?

It's HUGE! As the adverts say, it's oddly attractive but that oddness of shape means you can fit so much into what is still classed as a mini-mpv.

    Favourite gadget, option or accessory?

    A/C - a must!
