Although the driver’s airbag comes as standard, you have to pay extra for a passenger airbag on some early models and the general safety features of the Agila are a little sparse. Despite the boxy body seeming sturdy enough, there has been no Euro NCAP crash test as yet to fully test the Agila’s safety credentials.

The versatility of the Agila gives it an advantage over many other city cars as its five-door design allows easy cabin access and there is more than enough room in the boot for family shopping or luggage. The Agila is practical around town due to its efficient fuel economy, maneuverability and size.
