Summary
What does this car say about you?
I hope the car says I care about the planet and what we are going to leave our great grandchildren whilst I wont sacrifice style and drive a Nissan leaf.
What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?
They all think its great. The only reason I hear for not buying one is they say its too expensive to buy, but they say that of all electric/hybrid cars.
Would you buy this car again and why?
Yes. This is the first car that has lived up to all of my expectations.
What are you likely to buy next?
I will buy another PHEV. Either a Golf GTE, Mitsubishi Outlander or maybe the new Ampera.

Not sure about a good deal but they did find me a black electron and they gave me half price services and mots.
Is there any special reason why you bought this car?
I liked the clean and quiet electric motor drive with the petrol generator to give it the range of a petrol/diesel car.

The dealer was very friendly and helpful.

Driving it
What's it like to drive?
Fantastic. The power/torque delivery is like no car I have ever driven. There's no gears so the motor takes you from 0 to 70 in no time.
What's it like to park?
It has a rear view camera and sensors so its very easy, my wife could park it.

Living with it
Have you had any problems with the car?
Ive had a couple of warranty claims, charge cover spring failed and the flap wouldn't open by its self, rear reflectors leaked and hatchback gas struts where replaced but didn't fail.
What's most practical about your car?
The MPG. I do 21 miles a day three times a week to work and it costs me £6 a month. Ive done 10,000 miles in a year and averaged 108 mpg.
Favourite gadget, option or accessory?
Remote warm. You can warm the car from the remote control, it defrosts and warms the cab. I like to press the button when I wake up and then when im ready to leave the house the cars warm.
