Economy
Value
This model in the 1.8 comes with so many extras as standard. I would suggest looking at the 2.2 if your not going to buy this model, as the 2.2 spec is the same as this 1.8. I believe that the extras would cost nearly £2,500 if added to a standard car.
Costs
Good value as a result of the extra's being added as standard to this model, however £1,600 for leather seats as an extra to a normal car is a rip off.

On the road
Driving
Good road handling thanks to the traction control and the wide alloys on this model.
Performance
Its ok, but I find that the new diesel cars are as fast as this 1.8. I personally feel I would like a bit more overtaking power, like the Turbo version has.

Living with it
Reliability
I have had a lot of little problems with my car, the roof keeps having different intermittent faults and a door panel makes some noise when driving. The car is a year old next month and the problems are from new and have yet to be fixed.
Image
Looks very good, one of the best-designed convertibles around, only the M3 BMW looks better, but the price difference is phenomenal.
Comfort
I find the front seats to be comfortable, but the rear legroom is not good, it does not seat 4 adults comfortably unless they are 5ft tall.

Security and Service
Security
Standard.
Service
I have had several faults with the car. Each & every time they try to fix the problem, but keep saying that there is no fault code stored in the cars memory. I wish they would stop relying on this piece of technology & just try to fix the problem rather than trying to outwit me with machines!
