Vauxhall Astra Estate 1.6i Expression 5d (1997/P) Owner Review
-
Economy
Value
Cheap and cheerful.
Costs
Not bad. Source your parts from motor factors.
-
On the road
Driving
I drive for a living and would not like this for a long distance.
Performance
Wouldn't pull you out of bed in the morning.
-
Living with it
Reliability
Pain in the neck. ECU unit comes on, new front brakes, new wheel cylinders, oil leak at timing belt and 2 engine mounting bushes changed at only 35,00 miles.
Image
Lousy. Buy an M3 convertible and show off your cleavage.
Comfort
Take a cushion for your **** cos you'll get piles.
-
Security and Service
Security
Naff. Buy the estate and joyriders would not be seen dead in it.
Service
Mate works for Vauxhall, so I get all the home truths.
