Summary
What does this car say about you?
That I value style as well as driving enjoyment.
What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?
I get comments about the colour (flaming yellow like the one in the picture) but everyone seems to admire it.
Would you buy this car again and why?
Definitely. It's the best looking mainstream car on the road in my opinion. The cabin has a premium feel to it and it's a bargain as long as you get one second hand and let someone else suffer the initial depreciation. Most importantly it's great to drive and (so far) painless to own.
What are you likely to buy next?
I plan to keep this for a while but if I start hankering for some real performance again I will probably look for a Focus ST or a Scirocco.

Independent
Did you buy this car new?
No
What price did you pay?
£10,800
When did you buy the car?
September 2015

Yes, the car would have been £21k new but has heavily depreciated. Hoping this depreciation slows down now!
Is there any special reason why you bought this car?
The looks and the ride.
What was the dealer like?
Not pushy and very professional.

Driving it
What's it like to drive?
Quiet, smooth, sure footed and fun in the corners. Not as quick as my previous hot hatch but easier to live with day to day.
What's it like to park?
Tricky due to the massive c pillars and tiny rear screen. Parking sensors recommended.

Living with it
Have you had any problems with the car?
Early days yet but no problems so far.
What's most practical about your car?
It's very roomy for a coupe and relatively cheap to run.
Favourite gadget, option or accessory?
DAB radio with USB / iPod connectivity.
