Summary
What does this car say about you?
It says i am not a boy racer but I like a quality vehicle with a bit of performance behind it whilst still being practical.
What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?
They all love it, although in the first week of ownership the most common comment is the new car smell!
Would you buy this car again and why?
Yeah, but I may go for something even sportier next time.
What are you likely to buy next?
Maybe a VXR next time.

Buying experience
Type of dealer you bought from?
Franchised
Did you buy this car new?
Yes
What price did you pay?
£24,925
When did you buy the car?
March 2013
Did you get a good deal and why?
It was a good deal, NAV , Intelligent Lighting system optional extras which were worth over £2000 were included free.
Is there any special reason why you bought this car?
Upgrading from the 2010 Astra Sports hatch which i fell in love with, this was clearly the car to buy.
What was the dealer like?
The dealer was excellent, I find vauxhall dealers to be very good overall, I think they were a bit surprised I wanted to keep my 2010 astra and not trade it in for this new one.

Driving it
What's it like to drive?
Its fast, economical and quite a sporty ride, it lacks the steering feedback I was used to on its predecessor but its still barrels of fun to drive. I find the feedback a bit lacking on corners which can sometimes make you feel a little uneasy about taking them at speed, especially on A-Roads.
What's it like to park?
With front and rear parking sensors its a doddle. One thing I have noticed is the pillars on the windscreen are slightly obscuring your view when making turns which is a little irritating.
