Economy
Value
Cheap as chips for what you're getting. £700 can get you a motor that will last you a good few years with few problems!
Costs
Considering it only puts out 60bhp, it manages to drink petrol quite well! If driven sensibly, puts out good mpg though.

Driving
For its age, and compared to other vehicles of the same spec (e.g. Escorts/Clios), they drive extremely well. Handling isn't great, but with a few modifications these minor problems can be fixed!
Performance
The 60bhp model is very sluggish. It takes forever to get to 40 mph, but then it takes off!

Living with it
Reliability
Will not let you down if you treat it properly!
Image
Stick a GSi kit on one of these bad boys, and you will be the kiddy! As standard though, look a bit old-manish!
Comfort
Comfortable seats and smooth drive. Feels a lot safer than a Diesta or a Nova, as I well know!

Security and Service
Security
Locks don't seem all that great (deadlocks as standard, but not brilliant), and no Immobiliser or alarm as standard on these models!
Service
Haven't needed any!
