Economy
Value
Picked mine up from Reg Vardy brand new with £3,000 off the list price.
Costs
I have a GM visa card which contributes 3% off the price of a new Vauxhall on each spent. I had accrued about £980 which was taken off after I negotiated my deal. I was also rewarded with 300 points/£s to my account for future replacement.

On the road
Driving
Great handling in all conditions, very little over/understeer.
Performance
Accelerates really well and there is plenty of pull between 4th and 5th gear.

Living with it
Reliability
I do 20,000 miles/year which happens to be the service interval I am just under 30,000 and have replaced two front tyres and wiper blades. Comes with a 3 year warranty and AA provided service is by a dealer. Hasn't let me down to date.
Image
Looks good and sporty, however it was never changed since first launch. Plenty of extras available to spruce up interior if you wish.
Comfort
The SXI is quite low down, the seats are comfortable, the rear is roomy hwoever you do tend to feel the ride.

Security and Service
Security
Standard model comes with double locking and factory-fit immobiliser. Double lock prevents thief from opening any doors or boot. Alarm is extra.
Service
Vauxhall customer service previously let them down. This has now changed and they are prompt and efficient in dealing with any issues. I contacted them after one of my headlamp protectors failed and they duly arranged for a new set to be fitted by my deal.
