-
Economy
Value
Only 5 months old, for under £10k at Network Q dealer.
Costs
Insurance good for the performance fuel consumption, okay unless round town.
-
On the road
Driving
Fantastic handling, light steering and ideal driving position, but gearchange typically notchy Vauxhall (still okay though) and revs ""hang"" a bit too long between gears.
Performance
Superb flexibility and grunt throughout rev range, but perhaps 5th gear could do with higher ratio (or 6th gear).

Living with it
Reliability
Exhaust manifold blowing after 1 week of ownership on 5 month old car! Otherwise okay so far.
Image
Discreet (thankfully without naff full ""styling"" kit) but 2.2 badge and twin exhaust is sometimes red rag to fat (sorry, ""phat"") Saxo/Corsa Max Power brigade.
Comfort
Firm, but compliant ride, supportive seats, quiet at speed, but drivers clutch-foot rest would be welcomed.
-
Security and Service
Security
Standard alarm/immobiliser/locking wheel nuts.
Service
Not brilliant service and rushed/disorganised preparation prior to collection.
-
Problems and Ownership
Problems

Exhaust manifold blowing after 1 week (under warranty).
Other
Radio comes on at volume 11 even when switched off at zero!
