Driving
Always competent haven't got near limits of grip when cornering at high speed. Very good road holding but quite clinical for a hot hatch.
Performance
Deceptively fast. Has been just done by Saab 9-3 2.0t and 320d on motorway. Nice to blow off average 2.0 litre Vectra/Mondeo crew.

Slight electrical problem, rear brakes drag occasionally.

Inoffensive brand, looks like slightly sporty Vauxhall but quite subtle considering 1.8SRi looks same.

Comfortable well-made cabin, good ride with long suspension travel.

The garage I dealt with - Bellingers, Saxon Way, Sheffield - messed up at every possible opportunity they are a bunch of clowns.
