Economy
Costs
With £35 of Super unleaded, covered a distance of 200 miles. It does drink a lot when you put your foot down.

On the road
Driving
It handles bends smoothly, with no effort needed. A very quick and comfortable drive on the open road. Reaches 100mph with ease and with out you realising it, as the engine's so quiet.
Performance
1st & 2nd gear acceleration feels weird. It feels as if you're damaging the car? It's not a 0-60 car, but more of a mid-ranger. It's very quiet and can be easily redlined if you're not watching the rpm.

Living with it
Reliability
Noisy rear brakes (rear pads keep sticking to the discs and make an irritating squeak). Seen Vauxhall dealer and problem is being fixed. Rear spoiler is a bit faded. WHY!?
Image
In black with the full Irmsher Kit and 17" alloys, the car does look the part and heads do turn. I have received nothing but compliments.
Comfort
Very comfortable ride with a lot more space than the old Mk3 astra. Lovely sports seats. No squeaking seats heard yet, but I've only done 1000 miles so…

Security and Service
Security
Tilt sensors, deadlock, immobiliser and a very loud alarm.
Service
It took Vauxhall 3 months just to build this car. WHY!? Nice people, but too many excuses.
