What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?

More than likely another Vauxhall.

Buying experience
Type of dealer you bought from?
Franchise
Did you buy this car new?
No
What price did you pay?
£5,290
When did you buy the car?
March 2009
Did you get a good deal and why?
Got a discount following a period of wrangling with the dealer, including a part-exchange.
Is there any special reason why you bought this car?
5 door, need plenty of space for my job.
What was the dealer like?
Treated me with contempt to start with - possibly because I'm a bird. But, nice enough once the deal had been made.

Driving it
What's it like to drive?
Brilliant, I'm used to Vauxhall's so I don't understand other reviews that moan about the steering, etc. Very nice drive.
What's it like to park?
Easy - good rear window and wing mirrors. Very easy to reverse onto the drive.

Living with it
Have you had any problems with the car?
Only had it 3 weeks, so far so good.
What's most practical about your car?
Size of boot, especially when back seats are down. Shape of boot (with back lights) is not an issue at all, and I carry alot of equipment in my car for work. Also, it is very economical on fuel. I got 530 miles out of a tank of diesel with at least another 20 miles still left in it. I averaged 52 mpg with a 50% mix of town and motorway driving.
Favourite gadget, option or accessory?
On-board computer telling me MPG and the number of miles left in my fuel tank.
