Economy
Value
Company car so hard to say, seems about average.
Costs
Good on fuel general driving, excellent on faster roads cruising.
-
On the road
Driving
Handles well, plenty of grip, steering a little vague.
Performance
Not as quick as my old 2.0 dti astra, takes a while to get going, good at motorway speeds though.
-
Living with it
Reliability
runs out of fuel with 1/4 tank left (common problem) reverse gear selector broke (bad design, small bit of plastic) turned gearbox into a yoghurt tub , needed expert screwdriver skills to engage reverse, dashboard ""disco"" lights twice, otherwise fine
Image
looks very nice compared to the new focus / golf, stylish interior, still suffers from that vauxhall badge though
Comfort
Nice seats, good driving position, but bumpy due to sxi stiffer suspension.
-
Security and Service
Security
Random alarm activations.
Service
seem willing to help, sorted gearbox same day, couldnt find cause of dashboard problems, changed fuel sensor, hasnt run dry since
